The Quiot and Duclaux families built up bonds and family connections over the years. Domaine Duclaux is made up of old vines of which some are more then 120 years old and weren’t replanted after the phylloxera crisis around 1880.
Domaine Duclaux does not disappoint, big, powerful, robust and a wine that stands straight head to head with any equals. Duclaux is small production so stock up as it sells out quickly.
Duclaux is exquisite it’s deep garnet red colour. A very fruity nose with concentrated red berries, leather and liquorice. Great complexity and strength on the palate. Excellent persistence.
